Congratulation to our colleague Michael Kenny on receiving a Maynooth University Teaching Award 2021–2022
Dr Mary Ryan, Head of Department received the award on behalf of Michael who unfortunately could not attend the award ceremony himself. Michael wrote to thank the Teaching Award Committee for their recognition of his, and the Dept of Adult and Community Education’s “teaching principles we apply to our range of diverse students studying at levels 7 to 10. The Teaching Award also recognises excellent skills in outreach and distance teaching that we apply. The award recognise the value of our efforts to bring the MU experience to many communities, particularly disadvantaged communities near and far, and to quality assurance and teaching professionals in adult, further, and community education.” (Michael Kenny, 17th May 2022)
