Students and partner universities/high schools across America will be celebrating Thanksgiving this Thursday the 26th of November.
The entire team here at Maynooth University would like to wish all of our current and past American students and our American partner universities and high schools a very happy 2020 Thanksgiving in what must be one of the strangest years to celebrate this wonderful occasion.
Typically, at this time of year Maynooth University would be arranging a special Thanksgiving dinner celebration for all of our American students and we would watch the annual American Football games together as a group! While we are all deeply disappointed not to be able to do so this year, we are heartened and thankful for the friendships and partnerships we have with our colleagues across the world and relish being in a position to celebrate Thanksgiving like no other next year with students from our valued US partners.
Everyone in the International Office would like to send our best ‘Thanksgiving’ wishes to all our American friends and colleagues. We hope that you are all keeping safe and well during these very strange times.
The International Office looks forward to building and developing Maynooth’s partnership with American Universities and high schools over the coming months and years as we all try to navigate our way through a new way of working together in this unique era that we all find ourselves in the world of international education.
