Prof Michael Doherty spoke at an event held as part of a series of engagement sessions with stakeholders on the Good Jobs Employment Rights Bill consultation, hosted by the Department for the Economy NI. Prof Doherty spoke on the policy measures aimed at strengthening collective bargaining, drawing n experiences in the Republic of Ireland and elsewhere. The session was held in Belfast on September 20, and heard contributions from a number of leading experts in the fields of workplace relations, collective bargaining and flexible working. The aim of the event was to showcase how good workplace relations can contribute to more effective employee engagement and increased productivity.
