We are delighted to announce that Hugh Murphy has been appointed as the new Deputy University Librarian at Maynooth University. Hugh is a hugely experienced Librarian and during his 20+ year career he has worked in a number of libraries including the National Library of Ireland, UCD, and Maynooth University. His main professional interests lie in the areas of collection development, library buildings, and resource description. Hugh is currently pursuing doctoral studies in early 19th century history.
