Our event, 'Building Collective Power for Feminist Climate Justice: The Role of Higher Education,' is the Spring Meeting of the Climate Justice Universities Union – a transboundary and transdisciplinary collective seeking to leverage the transformative potential of higher education institutions to advance climate justice and accelerate a just transition. You do not need to be a member to attend, but if you are interested in joining, you can sign up using this simple Membership Form.
In addition to opportunities to connect and discuss how higher education institutions in Ireland can and should respond to our ecological and social crises with a feminist lens, the meeting will feature music, humour & discussion with The Wild Geeze, strategic reflections on collective action with feminist activist Ailbhe Smyth, and graphic recording with Hazel Hurley.
In-person-only event on Friday, 7th March from 9.30 am
Location: Room TSI210, 2nd Floor of TSI Building, North Campus, Maynooth University, Co. Kildare
