Education Department student Niamh Burke has been awarded a bursary under the Doctoral Strand of the Assessment Research and Development Programme, funded by the National Council for Curriculum and Development.
Niamh Burke is a second year PhD student and full time Research Assistant in the Education Department. She has been awarded a bursary under the Doctoral Strand of the Assessment Research and Development Programme, funded by the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA) for her research on formative assessment in the science classroom.

Employment Status and Undeclared Work
The Department of Law recently hosted a half-day conference on 'Employment Status and Undeclared Work', the purpose of which was to look at the under-examined issue of undeclared work, with a focus on the case studies of self-employed workers and undocumented migrant workers.
