Creative Writing & Drama Workshop

As part of the Maynooth University Open Day Saturday 1 April the Dept. of Adult and Community Education will hold a Creative Arts Workshop with author/poet and playwright John MacKenna and Crooked House Theatre Company Director Peter Hussey. Addiction Studies Talks

Diploma & Certificate in Addiction Studies course talks are taking place in the new Education Building, in room SE011. The certificate course focuses on introducing participants to current debates on addiction. On completion, participants will have become familiar with contemporary addiction theory as well as prevention and treatment strategies. The Diploma will build on this learning and will provide students with an opportunity to advance their knowledge and expertise in prevention and intervention methodologies so that they can respond effectively to the challenges presented by drug and alcohol misuse in Ireland.
