The MU International Office is the first point of contact for international students applying for full-degree, Erasmus, Study Abroad, and Summer School programmes, and supports MU students who wish to study abroad.
Before coming to Maynooth my teaching career spanned various international contexts including Canada, China, Ukraine, and the USA. My teaching and scholarly interests centre on science and environmental education with a specific focus on the politics and philosophy of education. My current research situates ethics at the core of education, thereby casting the work of educators as a search for different ways of living collectively in precarious times. The work of educators must reach for transdisciplinarity, which means questioning the taken for granted dominance of the social sciences in educational research and practice.
