How do I advertise an internship/work placement opportunity?
If you are a new Employer and interested in recruiting Maynooth University students, please fill in our online proposal form here and a memeber of the Placement Office will be in touch. (Please note the Maynooth University Placement Office only places students from 6 departments (34 degrees), we do not place students for education or early childcare roles.
We advertise student work placement opportunities on the Moodle platform which is only available to student on the Placement Programme. This way we can select the exact degrees you are trying to target. Please send details of a work placement/internship opportunity to placement@mu.ie.

What if my advertised role gets no applicants?
We can’t guarantee that students will apply for your advertised role, however if we see that it is not generating many applications, we can assess the job description and adapt it if necessary and highlight it again with our students.
