Avectas is an Irish life science technology business headquartered in Dublin and with US offices in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

    Based on research by Dr Shirley O Dea, and spun out from National University of Ireland, Maynooth in 2011, Avectas has developed a novel, patented electrospinning and electrospraying technology platform built on 8 years of R&D funded by Irish Government and EU grants. Avectas has leveraged its technology platform to develop, to commercial stage, breakthrough products in multibillion-dollar high growth markets.

    Avectas works with partners to collectively generate value. Avectas will continue to leverage the technology platform in pursuit of in-vivo diagnostic and therapeutic applications.
