The fifth Biology Research Day was held on the 13th of June and provided an opportunity for PhD and MSc students, postdocs and academic staff to present and discuss their research, and to get an overview of the current research activities in the department.

Conference Presentation ''Phygital Augmentations of History in the Classroom: The Battle of Mount Street Bridge'' by Dr Costas Papadopoulos. This paper will present the Mixed Reality Battle of Mount Street Bridge project currently being developed in An Foras Feasa that employs emerging technologies to create a new paradigm for digitally aided hands-on interactions in the classroom that will enhance history learning and teaching.
