Dr. Tatiana Andreeva, together with Ciara O’Higgins and Dr. Nekane Aramburu (University of Deusto, Spain) did a systematic review of existing empirical evidence to explore what challenges that professional service firms face when they go international and why. They identified 10 most common challenges and found that some of the challenges a professional service firm may face depend on distinctive characteristics of this firm. These findings could serve as a diagnostic tool to help practitioners identify which challenges they should prepare for when going abroad.
