Launch of Maynooth University 2014/15 GAA kit

Maynooth University GAA club has today launched their new kit for the 2014/15 season. Inspired by the Maynooth University logo, the predominant colours are teal and black.

Jenny Duffy, Maynooth University GAA Development Officer speaking at the launch said “I am very excited to be unveiling our new kit today. Teal is a strong, fresh colour, coming from the University logo. It is also the colour of the away jersey for Kildare GAA and reinforces the connection between the University and the County.

Many of the current Maynooth University scholarship stars will be present for the launch; from the Sigerson Cup side, established inter-county stars Fergal Conway,Paul Cribbin, David Hyland (all Kildare), Joey Wallace and Eamon Wallace (Meath), Evan O'Carroll (Laois).

This year also sees Maynooth University hurlers return to the Fitzgibbon Cup, a competition that the college twice won in the early 1970's and from the current team Dublin senior Paul Winters, former Galway minor star Eanna Burke and Brian Molloy and Kilkenny's Paddy Deegan.

From the Ladies Football team on hand for the photoshoot will be Kildare's Roisín Byrne, Ciara Trant and Margaret Mohan (Dublin seniors) & Karen Hegarty (Westmeath), while for the Camogie Kilkenny's Sarah Anne Quinlan, Meath's Cheyanne O'Brien, Kate Nolan (Myshall and Carlow).
