The Department is pleased to announce the recent publication of a new book by new Head of Department: Hegel's Antiquity by Dr Will Desmond appeared in August 2020 with the Classical Presences series of Oxford University Press, a series that seeks to “bring the latest scholarship to bear on the contexts, theory, and practice of the use, and abuse, of the classical past."
