As part of our Love Data Week 2019 activities, the Library is delighted to launch our rebranded open access institutional repository which has been renamed MURAL (Maynooth University Research Archive Library) following a campus-wide competition during Research Week. Seán O'Riogaín and Paddy Reilly were our joint winners on that occasion. As part of the rebranding exercise it was decided to give our repository a meaningful name rather than simply calling it after the software it is built on (eprints)and to ensure consistency when referring to it across campus. Since then the Library, with the help of IT Services has worked on changing the look and feel of the repository and upgraded the underlying software.
The new MURAL site is now live at http://mural.maynoothuniversity.ie/ and the new email is mural@mu.ie but the previous links and eprints email will redirect to the new link and email during the transition.
We have also created a twitter account to tweet about new deposits- you can follow MURAL at @mural_mu
A revised libguide for MURAL has also been created which is available here https://nuim.libguides.com/mural We will continue to work on improvements to MURAL and welcome any queries.
