On Tuesday, August 21, as part of Heritage Week, Róisín Berry, Archivist with MU Library, gave a very practical session to attendees in Lucan Library, on how to manage their family archive of documents, photos, letters, and postcards. Róisín detailed approaches to properly caring and organising items of family heritage and attendees gave very positive feedback on the event. There was interest amongst the audience in the process of deposition of relevant records with MU Archives. This event was organised as a joint venture between MU Library and the local history group in Lucan.
