Why Machine Learning?
Machine Learning is a form of artificial intelligence. It effectively automates the process of analytical model building and allows machines to adapt to new scenarios independently.

The exponential increase in the availability of technology capable of gathering and processing large quantities of data, big data and machine learning applications have become increasingly common in many fields including economics.

This workshop will allow you to understand the core concepts beyond the buzzwords and investigate some recent and interesting examples of economics works based on big data and machine learning.

The seminars are mostly theoretical and programming experience is not required to attend nor follow the workshop.
