Mathematics Support Centre Celebrates its 200,000th Visit

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics and Maynooth University Library are delighted to celebrate the Mathematics Support Centre (MSC)'s 200,000th student visit in the MSC venue, the Social Learning Room. 

The President of Maynooth University, Professor Eeva Leinonen, and Professor Duncan Lawson, Coventry University will make brief addresses to attendees. Refreshments will be available.

All current and former MU students and staff are welcome.  Please register by Thursday the 29th of September to confirm attendance.

The Mathematics Support Centre (MSC) first opened its doors in September 2007. The MSC, established by the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, has proven very popular with students. Services are provided by award winning staff and are guided by evidence-based research, they include free drop-in for both MU and second level students.  The MSC has made a significant contribution to student retention and progression and advises colleagues both nationally and internationally on MSC services.
