On Thursday, 13th March 2025, Visiting PhD Researcher Giulia Sberna, hosted by the School of Law and Criminology & the Assisting Living & Learning (ALL) Institute, Maynooth University presented a lunchtime seminar where she presented her PhD research in seminar 'Reasonable Accommodation for Workers with Disabilities: Challenges in Digital Environment’. The event was introduced by Professor Delia Ferri, Professor of Law and Co-Director of the ALL Institute.
Ms Sberna presented her research including legislation and case law followed by a fascinating discussion with attendees on various aspects of Reasonable Accommodations, legal obligations, the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and practical implementation across Europe with a focus on Italy.
