Dr Páraic Kerrigan (UCD) and Professor Maria Pramaggiore (MU) present their current research project, which combines oral history and archival research in order to re-discover the rich history of an LGBTQ community resource which operated from 1979-1987.
We argue that oral history, archival research and a clearly articulated concept of intergenerational collaboration is essential to the ability of researchers to mark and historicise the discontinuities of queer Irish lives.
