As part of Research Week, the Research Development Office is hosting MaynoothSparks 2021, with the theme: A new normal? Research in the post-covid world.
This year, the event is open to all academic and research staff/Postdocs from any faculty. We are interested not only in how your own research @MU is relevant to the theme, but also (or instead!) your thoughts on how the nature of research has changed – or ought to – in the post-covid era.
The format this year gives you exactly 6 minutes to enthuse and inspire your audience of Maynooth staff, students and colleagues about research in the post-covid world.
Each speaker’s presentation should be comprised of 12 slides, and the event will be recorded.
If you are interested and able to take part please email [email protected] by Wednesday 6th of October and I will be in touch with you promptly to discuss further. Time is short, so please get in touch asap.
MaynoothSparks 2021 will take place on Thursday, 21st October from 2 – 3.30pm
We hope that the event will spark discussion and collaboration with colleagues across the University, and raise awareness of research @ MU as part of research week - we can’t wait to hear from you.
