Abstract:
The first generation of stars had a huge impact on the early Universe through radiative feedback, reionisation, metal enrichment and magnetic field structural changes. While it was originally believed that a single, massive Pop III star would form per cosmological halo, recent studies have revealed that primordial gas fragments to form a broad range of stellar masses.
Here we discuss the effects of resolution, magnetic fields and stellar feedback on the Pop III mass function.
