Professor Tobias Lock gave a presentation to members of the All-island Women's Forum (organised by the National Women's Council) on the Common Travel Area on the island of Ireland in a post-Brexit context. His focus was on the effects of the post-Brexit legal regime, notably
the guarantees of the Common Travel Area contained in the Protocol on Ireland/Northern Ireland. The bottom line is that EU nationals and their family members resident in the Republic of Ireland are now in a worse position than before Brexit when it comes to crossing the border. His presentation was based on a publication on the CTA, which can be accessed here.
