Aideen Ryan
I completed my degree in Sociology and English at Maynooth University in 2012. Subsequently I completed an MSc in Human Resource Management at DCU graduating in July 2015. I feel a debt of gratitude to Maynooth University and the sociology course I undertook there. I thoroughly enjoyed the course and the lectures, and I feel that the staff inspired me in certain ways to achieve my goals. The constant encouragement and support I received is much appreciated.
I recently started a full-time job as a HR assistant with a company that manufactures diagnostic test kits and is expanding rapidly at present. I look after the recruitment and overtime and will also be responsible for health and safety issues and brand awareness. The job is really satisfying and I have found that there is a big overlap between sociology and the many aspects of Human Resources services. My days are busy, full of variety with lots of interaction with people
