This year, three students from MU Chinese Studies travelled to Singapore and registered at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore for the year abroad programme. The students are studying Chinese Language and experiencing the vibrant culture of Singapore.

'Studying in Singapore has been one of the best experiences of my life. I've grown as a person, made numerous friends and got to experience such a beautiful culture. At first it was a struggle, living on the other side of the world on my own & having to sort out college and immigration documents with no help. However, this passed within the first month. Since then I have joined community events, volunteered, and got to travel to Malaysia.' - Eva Murphy
Nanyang Technological University is a global partner with Maynooth university and we welcome students from Nanyang to Maynooth and our students can attend Nanyang as part of the study abroad programme organised by Maynooth University International Office.
