Hayley is the Faculty Officer for the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Maynooth University, where she supports the Dean and the wider Faculty. With over 10 years professional work in higher education, Hayley brings a diverse background of experience including student services, administration, professional development, and global education programs. Prior to her current role, Hayley served as the Deputy Admissions Officer at Maynooth University (covering a secondment) and spent over seven years in various leadership positions at CAPA: The Global Education Network, including Director of Program and Student Services and Senior Programme Coordinator. During her time at CAPA, Hayley was deeply involved in internships, researching and securing new placement opportunities for US university students in Dublin and Ireland. She also developed strong relationships with internship sites across various industries, ensuring high-quality placements and providing ongoing mentorship and professional development for students. Hayley’s expertise spans academic programme administration, operations, student advising and student services, alongside building strong relationships with colleagues and external partners.
