'The Rent Strike' Film

It is an inspiring story about a forgotten aspect of Irish social and political history and shows how collective action and mass organisation can bring about fundamental changes in the housing system. It was produced by members of the Community Action Tenants Union Ireland (CATU) as part of the union's rent strike history project in collaboration with Upstate Theatre Project and Dr Fiadh Tubridy of the Department of Geography, Maynooth University.
