A roundtable discussion considering the multiple, interrelated crises facing Ireland - specifically the environment, health and housing. The impacts are already visible and will increase in future unless transformative change is undertaken. The panel will discuss the concerns, potential solutions and challenges.
Panellists include:
- Ollie Bartlett (public health law);
- Patrick Bresnihan (land and resource use - contested politics);
- Conor Crummey (public and constitutional law - including housing rights);
- Mary Dobbs (environmental law);
- Orla Kelleher (climate, environmental and human rights law); and
- Jennie Stephens (climate justice).
The discussion will largely be shaped by questions from the chair and the discussants. Attendees will have the opportunity to suggest questions/topics via email in advance and also to ask questions on the day.
