Associate Prof at The School of Law and Criminology Maynooth University, Dr Brian Flanagan, appeared on RTE news on Wednesday, 8 January to discuss the Ryanair case. Ryanair is seeking €15,000 in damages from a passenger after a Lanzarote to Dublin flight was forced to land in Porto last year due to their behaviour.
Speaking on RTE news Dr Brian Flanagan said, "I think if it is successful you will have a lot of people in the industry being quite satisfied and you might also have potential passengers being satisfied that there is this avenue of recourse."
