Organised by Dr. Sinéad Kelly and Dr. Rory Hearne, the workshop included brief presentations from a variety of speakers on different aspects of the housing crisis, followed by targeted and collaborative group discussion. Workshop participants considered the key questions of why housing crises emerge, what’s happening with the housing system in Dublin and why has the housing crisis intensified so rapidly, what housing policies exist and how well are they working and what kinds of alternative housing solutions might be pursued and how.
