    To launch their new book Trapped (Stanford University Press, 2024), Mark Maguire and co-author Setha Low engaged in a live and televised conversation with Alex Vitale (Brooklyn College) to discuss the public safety, policing, and the transformation of the security-industrial sector. The was organized by City University New York’s (CUNY) Graduate Centre, Ph.D. Program in Anthropology, the Ph.D. Program in Earth and Environmental Sciences, and the Public Space Research Group.
