The Centre for the Study of Historic Irish Houses and Estate is delighted to present a Christmas lecture and book launch.
At 6.30pm on 15 December 2023, Professor Christopher Ridgway will deliver a lecture on 'Christmas and Winter in the Big House: From Festive Spectacle to Unseen Maintenance'. This will be followed at 7.30pm by the launch of 'Visitors to the Country House in Ireland and Britain; Welcome and Unwelcome (Four Courts Press) eds., Terence Dooley and Christopher Ridgway.
