EndNote X9 is a reference management software designed to help create, store, organize, and share references.
This 45-minute training event will consist of a 30-minute demonstration on how to download EndNote X9 (desktop) onto your device, an introduction to what EndNote is, instruction on creating an EndNote Library, adding references to your Library (from Library Search, Academic Databases etc.), organizing your references into groups, and creating bibliographies/citations/footnotes in your essays/papers using the cite while you write tool in Word.
You will also be shown how to synchronize EndnoteX9 with your EndNote Online account (if you have one).
The class will finish with a 15-minute question and answer session. It is suitable for beginners and those seeking a refresher.
Attendees are welcome to attend all or just part of the session (for example just the clinic/Q&A segment if you have specific question, you'd like addressed) whichever suits your needs. The sessions are repeated so if you would like to attend the subsequent sessions as well you are very welcome to do so.
