Dr Noelle Higgins gave a presentation at the Socio-Legal Studies Annual Conference which took place at the University of Lancaster from 5 to 7 April 2016. Noelle participated in the International Criminal Justice stream and gave a paper on the destruction of cultural property under the international criminal law framework. Her presentation focused on the current International Criminal Court Al Mahdi case.
Dr Higgins is a Senior Lecturer at Maynooth University Department of Law where she lectures in International Criminal Law, Public International Law, and The Rights of Minorities and Indigenous Peoples. Noelle is also the Course Director of the Department's LLM in International Justice.
