Professor Doherty Discusses Latest Developments in Luas Dispute on Drivetime

On 17 May 2016, Professor Michael Doherty appeared on Drivetime to discuss the latest developments in the ongoing Luas dispute. He also discussed some other, high-profile disputes, including the Postal Strike of 1979. A podcast of the show is available online.
 
Professor Doherty researches in the area of industrial relations law and policy and has commented and published widely on Irish and European collective bargaining, including his piece 'When You Ain't Got Nothin', You Got Nothin' to Lose.... Professor Doherty is Head of Maynooth University Department of Law and lectures courses on Employment Law and Work & Employment in Europe on the LLB, as well as lecturing on the MA in Sociology (Work, Labour Markets and Employment) at Maynooth University.
