Yvonne Leckey
About
Yvonne Leckey is a Research Associate in the Department of Psychology. Her research focuses on early intervention and prevention initiatives to support child and youth wellbeing and mental health. She has worked on several large-scale projects including the Incredible Years Ireland Study, the ENRICH research programme and is currently the Project Manager on the Study of Adolescent Lives after Migration (SALaM) Ireland which is exploring the psychosocial wellbeing of Arabic-speaking adolescents who have resettled to Ireland. Yvonne has a background in anthropology, psychology and community development and has considerable experience in conducting community-based research with vulnerable populations, with a view to understanding how services can better improve engagement and outcomes for families.
