    Academic Background:
    I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business English from Dongguan University of Technology (2017) and a Master’s degree in Interpreting from Huaqiao University (2019), with extensive experience in liaison and consecutive interpreting between Chinese and English across academic, medical, and primarily business contexts. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD at Maynooth University fully funded by the John and Pat Hume Doctoral Scholarship, researching around “Exploring Ecological Neologisms Around Food and Sustainability in Ireland:  A Corpus-based Critical Discourse Analysis ” under the supervision of Dr. Elyse Ritchey and Dr. Alistair Fraser. 
    Research Interests:
    Ecological discourses in particular around environment and food; Ecolinguistics; Discourse Analysis; Corpus Analysis; Neologisms, especially Eco-lexicons; Food and Language; Analytical tools including Sketch Engine, R programming, AntConc, etc..
