Gemma Lynch

About

Gemma Lynch is an Outreach Officer on the MAP Outreach Team with particular responsibilty for DEIS schools and the Mountjoy Prison Maynooth University Partnership. Her work includes outreach activities, pathways, and transitions to HE, with the objective of supporting the access, retention, and success of under-represented learners in higher education.

This involves promoting opportunities and pathways to progress to HE and providing targeted information and advice to prospective students and their families to support them to successfully navigate third level systems. Gemma also supports student success through the development and delivery of the Launchpad Orientation programme and the MAP Student Ambassador Programme. 

Gemma is a graduate of University College Dublin with a Masters in Social Policy (Comparative European Family Studies).
