Marie G. Cullen (MLIS (UCD), PGDHE (MU), ALAI) is Systems Librarian at Maynooth University (MU) Library since 2020.  During 2020, Marie jointly project managed a library wide project to implement the Alma Library Services Platform.
 
Since 2008, she has held a variety of posts at MU Library including working on the project to integrate the Froebel College Library to MU Library. She has previously worked at the RCSI Mercer Library as Assistant Librarian Information Resources and as Special Collections Cataloguer for RCSI’s Antiquarian Book collection.
 
Marie is a member of the Library Association of Ireland (LAI) and was a member of the Academic & Special Libraries (A&SL) Section Committee of the LAI from 2009 to 2019, serving as secretary and chairperson.  She was awarded Associateship (ALAI) of the LAI in March 2013.
Marie is a past winner of the ANLTC (now CONUL Staff Training & Development) Library Assistant Bursary.
Marie has presented at INULS, QQML and the CONUL Annual Conference. She has co-authored articles published in An Leabharlann-The Irish Library and Sconul Focus.  These articles are available on MURAL
