Melda Hasiloglu Ciftciler

Dr. Melda Hasiloglu Ciftciler is an Assistant Lecturer in Management Information Systems at the School of Business, Maynooth University. She holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering from Eskisehir Technical University, where her thesis focused on dynamic pricing and inventory management strategies to minimize food waste and maximize profit. She is currently completing a second PhD at Trinity Business School, where her research focuses on sustainability in different industries using game theory, dynamic programming and analytical modelling techniques.

She has published in Computers & Industrial Engineering and presented her work at major international conferences including EURO and POMS. Melda brings several years of experience in higher education, having served as a co-lecturer and teaching assistant at Trinity Business School. She has supported undergraduate, MSc, and MBA teaching in areas such as operations management, supply chain management, and management information systems, and has supervised several MSc theses.
