Satellite viewing of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s address to university students in Ireland

    Since the beginning of Russia’s war against Ukraine on February 24, 2022, Ireland has welcomed more than 56,000 refugees from the war zone, including hundreds of students who now study at Irish Universities.  On Friday, November 18th at 1:00pm, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will speak to university students in Ireland through live video-link regarding his country’s current situation.  

    The main event takes place at DCU, and Maynooth University will host a satellite event, which will feature President Zelenskyy’s live-streamed address followed by an in-person discussion with an EU ambassador and experts. 

    No tickets are required for the satellite event at Maynooth University, but seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis. 

    *Please arrive for 12:45pm if possible.
