Join us for Dr Lee McKenzie (School of Education at Liverpool Hope University ) speaking on ‘Oppression and English’ April 5, 2023, at 1:00 PM.

Before joining the School of Education at Liverpool Hope University, Dr Lee Mackenzie worked as a lecturer/researcher for Universidad del Norte in Barranquilla, Colombia. He has published a number of articles on linguistic imperialism and the role of English, particularly in the Colombian education system, and on its implications for social justice.
