The Chinese & English Language Salon was launched online on 26 November 2021 to create a warm and supportive community for Chinese and English Language learners in Irish universities.The Salon is organised and hosted by Dr. Meishan Zhang with the support of colleagues and students from Maynooth University, UCC, UCD, TCD and DCU.
The topic for the opening week was ‘Exchanging a Poem’. This topic was inspired by the Irish scholar Garry Leonard’s talk on ‘Reading Poetry in the Age of Anxiety’.
The event will take place each week on Friday at 7:30 pm. All welcome to join in our further events.
