Final year astrophysics students visit Observatoire de Haute-Provence

Friday, October 18, 2024 - 14:45

Many of our 4th year MH204 students recently visited the Observatoire de-Haute Provence in France to take data for their final year projects. Despite some stormy conditions during the week, observations were taken on two of the four nights targets including of galaxies, planetary nebulae, supernova remnants, open clusters, young stellar objects, and transiting exoplanets. Even the aurorae made an appearance on one of the nights!
