The Department of Chemistry would like to congratulate Leah Hughes, a second year Pharmaceutical & Biomedical Student at Maynooth University, on receiving a Meath Youth District Award in recognition of her excellent work establishing "Project Sunflower". Project Sunflower is an initiative focused on raising funds to support the prevention of S.A.D.S. (sudden adult death syndrome). The Meath Youth District Award awards are given to those under the age of 21 who have greatly helped their community and helped the lives of others.
