Professor Michael Doherty appeared on RTÉ Radio 1’s Drivetime show on 16 July 2015 to discuss the National Economic Dialogue process.
Professor Doherty has a long-standing interest in national socio-economic dialogue processes and procedures and has written and commented extensively on national pacts in Ireland, including his piece ‘It Must Have Been Love...But It's Over Now. The Crisis and Collapse of Social Partnership In Ireland’ which was published in the European Review of Labour and Research.
Professor Doherty is Head of Maynooth University Department of Law where he lectures in modules on Employment Law and Work and Employment in Europe on the LLB programme.
