Professor Eduardo Silva, Maynooth University Distinguished Visiting Scholar who is being hosted by the Department of Sociology, met with members of the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Foreign Affairs and Trade on Tuesday, May 12th in Leinster House.
Professor Silva briefed the committee on the current political and economic situation in Latin America and answered questions from members.
Professor Silva also enjoyed a tour of Leinster House and observed the Dail and Seanad in action.
