Last week was Social Justice week at Maynooth University.
The sociology students at Kilkenny Campus marked social justice week with an activity on global justice. Students got involved in discussions around the topic of global justice and made a commitment to 'change one small thing' in their lives. Some of the changes included, buying fair trade, supporting charity shops, joining human rights groups, turning off lights, becoming more aware of the issues, checking the source of food and clothing that they buy and signing petitions.
