Special Issue of the International Review of Law, Computers & Technology Edited by Dr Ferri

Dr Delia Ferri has recently edited a Special Issue of the International Review of Law, Computers & Technology.

The Special Issue, which she co-edited with Anthony Giannoumis of Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences, is entitled “Fostering Accessible Technology and Sculpting an Inclusive Market through Regulation”.

Through a multi-faced and inter-disciplinary analysis, it explores different regulatory approaches that might enhance accessible technology and its availability. Investigating the inter-relations among different legal systems and different ‘suppliers’ of law (public and private), the contributions collected in the Issue also illustrate the interaction between law, political science, sociology and disability studies. This Special Issue also attempts to trace the pathway for a society in which people with disabilities enjoy the same opportunities as other people.

Charles O’Sullivan, who is currently completing his PhD at the Department of Law, acted as guest Assistant-editor for this Special Issue.

The Special Issue is now available to read online!

Dr Delia Ferri is a lecturer at Maynooth University Department of Law, where she lectures in EU Law and in International and European Disability Law and Policy.
