Gamers may be interested to note that Dr Paul Donovan, Maynooth University School of Business, has had his article, 'Actors and Avatars: why learners prefer digital agents' accepted for publication in EJTD, European Journal of Training and Development.
The research showed that learners favoured avatars as teaching role models over humans in management type situations.
